In line with rising rates in the international market, the price of petroleum products is expected to rise by Rs10 in the coming month.
According to industry sources, the price of petrol will rise by Rs7 per liter, while the price of diesel will rise by Rs10 per liter.
After consultations with Prime Minister Imran Khan on January 30, the Finance Division will make the final decision.

The government announced an Rs3.01 increase in the price of petrol on January 15 due to rising international petroleum prices.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, in addition to petrol, an increase in other petroleum products was imposed beginning January 16.
