Google announced on Friday the launching of its first Gaming Growth Lab in Pakistan.
The Lab is a five-week virtual program designed to assist emerging mobile-gaming enterprises in expanding their offerings and growing their businesses. According to a Google statement, the launch demonstrates Google’s commitment to accelerating the digital gaming industry in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s gaming ecosystem, which includes many gaming studios and game technology developers, is gaining traction both domestically and internationally.
Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Regional Director for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, commented on the initiative, saying, “We see a huge opportunity today to support emerging local developers and help them expand their offerings to an international audience.
” We will provide access to our products and platforms, such as Cloud, Ads, AdMob, and Play, as well as mentoring sessions and workshops to help nurture and grow these enterprises, through the Gaming Growth Lab.”
The Gaming Growth Lab program is founded on four key pillars:
- DREAM: Gaming ecosystem insights and global growth opportunities.
- DEVELOP: Use Google’s cloud solutions and technology to create user-friendly applications.
- DRIVE: Training in growth and monetization models, as well as user acquisition strategies.
- DATA: Data knowledge and measurement via tools such as Google Ads and Firebase to assist businesses in achieving data-driven growth.
The show will be broadcast in both English and Urdu. It will begin on March 1. From now until February 11, interested organizations and individuals can apply.
