Pakistan to Host Saudi Crown Prince Next Month

The Saudi crown prince and other high-ranking officials are expected to visit Islamabad in March, according to Pakistan Today.

According to well-placed diplomatic sources, Islamabad and Riyadh are finalizing the dates for Mohammed bin Salman’s visit, while plans are also being made to host an extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the federal capital.

According to the sources, the crown prince’s visit is significant given the two countries’ growing trade and investment cooperation, while Saudi Arabia is also eager to secure a deal with the military to help protect itself against attacks from Iran-aligned Houthi rebels.

According to sources, Pakistan is also planning to host the regular conference of OIC foreign ministers on March 22 in the Parliament House.

According to sources, the OIC foreign ministers will be invited to witness the Pakistan Day parade.

Prime Minister Imran Khan wants the crown prince to be a guest of honor at the annual Pakistan Day parade.
