Oppo A76 is a recently announced sibling to the Oppo A95, which debuted in Malaysia last week. It will soon be available in other Asian markets as well. According to reliable WhatMobile sources, the next stop will be Pakistan. Here’s what we discovered.
We don’t expect a dedicated event to accompany the launch — cheap Oppo phones rarely get the red carpet rolled out for them. However, the official website and announcements for the Oppo A76 will be available by February 28.
The Oppo A76’s standout feature is its 33W SuperVOOC charging. It promises a 55% boost in just 30 minutes. Five minutes of charging equals two hours of video streaming. And the phone’s 5000 mAh battery provides all-day battery life.
The upcoming Oppo price list is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor clocked at 2.4GHz. To round out the snapdragon chip, the A76 4g includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. ColorOS x Android 11 is powered by the hardware. And the display has a fluid and smooth refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Oppo A76 is available in two awesome colors; ocean blue and inky black. The casing is slightly chamfered and textured. Oppo also claims scratch and water resistance, but there is no official IP rating. The power button can also work as a fingerprint scanner. The display is a 6.56″ IPS LCD. It has an unremarkable 720P resolution, a responsive 180Hz touch sampling, and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
