Along with the new iPhone SE, iPad Air, and Mac devices, Cupertino-based technology giant Apple announced a new color option for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models at the “Peek Performance” event.
The color for the iPhone 13 is simply referred to as Green, while the color for the iPhone 13 Pro is referred to as Alpine Green. Both devices in this new color option will be available for pre-order on Friday and will be available for purchase on March 18th.
Although both colors appear similar, the Alpine Green color for the Pro series models appears metallic. According to the company, it was created by applying multiple layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics across the surface.
The Alpine Green Apple iPhone 13 Pro joins the already available four colors — Gold, Silver, Graphite, and Sierra Blue. The iPhone 13 is now available in six colors: Green, Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Product Red.
We previously reported that Apple planned to introduce a new color option for the iPhone 13 series during the “Peek Performance” event, and this has proven to be accurate. In March of last year, the company also introduced a new Purple color for the iPhone 12 series smartphones.
