Some of Samsung’s latest software tricks do not require a Galaxy S22. Samsung promises to bring One UI 4.1 to many of its recent Galaxy phones and tablets, including its more advanced camera features.
You’ll gain access to the Expert RAW editing app, as well as more advanced object removal and easier photo sharing. You can also expect live Google Duo sharing and a Grammarly-enabled keyboard.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will be the first to receive the One UI 4.1 update. It will, however, be available for the Galaxy S21, S20, and S10 families, the Galaxy Note line (beginning with the Note 10+), unnamed Galaxy A handsets, and all previous foldable phones. The new software will also be available for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and other unspecified Tab S models.
Samsung did not provide a specific timeline for the rollout, which will most likely vary depending on the device, country, and carrier. The plan also implies that if you use a Galaxy Tab A or another low-cost tablet, you may be out of luck.
Nonetheless, it’s good news for many users who don’t want to buy new hardware just to get caught up on One UI.
