The First Trailer of Pakistani-American Superhero, Ms. Marvel, is Finally Here

Marvel Cinematic Studios and Disney+ have finally released the trailer for Ms. Marvel, the highly anticipated show that follows the story of a Pakistani-American Muslim girl.

Fans from all over the world had been waiting for a glimpse of the upcoming Disney series.

And, after a long wait, the MCU has released the trailer, which depicts the lively and fun world of a Pakistani-American girl named Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani) from Jersey City.

The trailer depicts the life of a bubbly Kamala Khan in Jersey City, who struggles in school and struggles to find her footing in life.

The trailer even briefly depicts Pakistani and Muslim culture, with Kamala Khan dressed in a shalwar kameez’ and dancing at a desi wedding.

Kamala is even seen praying in a mosque in one of the scenes.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, a well-known Oscar-winning Pakistani filmmaker, was fortunate enough to work on the Ms. Marvel project.

The Pakistani director has directed three episodes of Ms. Marvel’s upcoming debut season.

In terms of Fawad Khan, the trailer revealed nothing about his role in the show. However, according to reports, he will make a cameo appearance in the series’ flashback season.

The Ms. Marvel series will premiere on Disney+ on June 8th.
