Govt Gave 5-year Tax Exemption to Overseas Pakistanis For Investment

Dr. Shahid Mahmood, Vice-Chairperson of the Overseas Pakistan Commission in Punjab, has stated that the current government of Prime Minister Imran Khan has granted overseas Pakistanis a five-year tax exemption for investment which is admirable.

He said this while speaking with Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) Punjab Minister of Health Muhammad Hanif Patafi, who visited him at his office on Thursday. Syed Khadim Abbas, Commissioner of the OPC, was also present occasion.

During the meeting, the Vice-Chairperson of the OPC Punjab and the SACM for Health were present  discussed the solutions to the problems that overseas Pakistanis face who belongs to
DG Khan.

Dr. Shahid Mahmood told the SACM that Pakistanis living abroad are a valuable asset and true ambassadors for the country. He stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab are particularly interested in resolving the issues of expatriates.

He went on to say that, in light of the Prime Minister’s vision and the Chief Minister of Punjab’s directive, special front desks have been set up in OPC Punjab under one window operation for immediate resolution of the problems of overseas Pakistanis, and they are taking full advantage of the services provided by OPC.

He claimed that the PTI government, led by Prime Minister Imran Khan, had taken a historic step by granting expats the right to vote. He clarified that the services provided by Pakistanis living abroad to their home country are unforgettable.
