The Oppo A96 is a recently released midrange phone. It debuted as a China-only model, but Oppo has begun bringing it to select global markets. The Oppo A76’s sibling has already been released in the Middle East. According to reliable sources, the A96 is now on its way to Pakistan.
Oppo has yet to make any official announcements. However, according to our inside sources, the Oppo A96 will be available in Pakistan on March 24. We’ll take a quick look at what this phone has to offer.
To begin with, the Oppo A96 generates more than 33W of power. It claims to provide a 50 percent recharge in just 26 minutes. The phone’s 5000 mAh battery should easily last the entire day. To ensure safe charging, Oppo has also integrated AI protection protocols into the USB port.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor powers the new Oppo A smartphone. The A96’s octa-core CPU runs at 2.4GHz and is paired with 8GB of memory and 256GB of internal storage. Finally, the hardware is powered by ColorOS 11.1 x Android 11.
The Oppo A96 screen features an O-hole cutout in the corner that houses the 16MP front camera. We’re looking at a 6.59″ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 1080P. The display can reach 600 nits of brightness and respond to touch at a rate of 180Hz.
On the back, we find a dual camera with 50MP f/1.8 wide and 2MP portrait lenses. The Oppo A96 is capable of shooting in Night, Expert, Portrait, and Extra HD modes. The casing is chamfered around the edges and available in two colors: Starry Black and Sunset Blue. It has an IP5X rating for increased durability.
