The 4G variant of the POCO M4 Pro was released in Pakistan on time today. The phone is a rebranded version of a recent Redmi Note, a series known for providing high-value features on a low budget. And the M4 Pro is no exception. It comes soon after the release of the POCO M4 Pro 5G (which is already available in Pakistan) and features a best-in-class display.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro is the first device in the M series to feature an AMOLED display. It has a high contrast ratio, 1000 nits of brightness, and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut.
Furthermore, the 1080P display has a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, POCO has incorporated a certified eye protection filter into the screen.
Inside the POCO M4 Pro, the MediaTek Helio G96 processor handles all of the number-crunching. It features a high-performance 4G chip, 6/8GB of extended RAM, and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The LiquidCool technology prevents the phone from overheating.
Everything on the new Xiaomi price list is powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery. POCO claims that a single charge will provide 31 hours of calling, 22 hours of video streaming, and 140 hours of music playback. The 33W charging support allows for quick top-ups. This hardware supports MIUI 12 x Android 11. (old-gen, bloated software is one of the few corners POCO often cuts.)
The POCO M4 Pro’s casing is flat and sharp around the edges, and it houses a power button that also functions as a thumbprint scanner, a dual speaker system, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IR Blaster. Power Black, POCO Yellow, and Cool Blue editions are available.
Finally, the radical camera plate houses a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The system can capture images in Natural HDR, Night, and 64MP modes. Inside the O-hole cutout is a 16MP front-facing camera. POCO M4 Pro is priced at Rs. 44999.
