The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Department has launched an online Complaint Management System (CMS) to assist citizens of the federal capital.
In this context, Inspector General (IG) ICT Police Muhammad Ahsan Younas stated that citizens of Islamabad can now register their complaints using the ICT Police CMS from everywhere.
Until now, citizens had to go to the relevant Police Station in person to register their complaints. Although this mode is still available, it is no longer required following the CMS’s launch.
The CMS can be used by citizens to file the following types of complaints:
- FIR registration
- Concerns about the investigation
- Complaint against public officials
- Women and children are victims of crime.
- Complaint about traffic
In addition, foreigners, overseas Pakistanis, and citizens of other cities can use the CMS to file complaints.
Following the registration of the complaint, it will be redirected to the appropriate Police Station and will be monitored by senior ICT Police Officials.
While complainants will be notified of the successful registration of their complaints via SMS confirmation, they will also be given an e-tag to track the progress of their complaints.
