Every few months, we see automakers raise their prices. Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL), like KIA, Toyota, and Honda, has decided to raise the price of the Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan.
While Hyundai has announced yet another price increase for Tucson, keep in mind that the price of this C-segment SUV was recently increased by up to Rs. 370,000 in January 2022.
Here are the new and old Hyundai Tucson prices, as well as the price difference.
|Model||Old Prices (Rs)||New Prices (Rs)||Price Difference (Rs)|
|Hyundai Tucson GLS Sport (FWD)||5,549,000||5,799,000||250,000|
|Hyundai Tucson Ultimate (AWD)||5,999,000||6,299,000||300,000|
HNMPL resumed the booking process on March 25, 2022, and the Hyundai Tucson will now be booked at the updated price.
Hyundai Nishat statement on Price Hike
According to the company, the price increase is due to the depreciation of the local currency as well as increases in commodity and freight charges. According to Hyundai Nishat, the aforementioned factors raise the input cost of its CKD units. As a result, the company is compelled to include a portion of the increased prices in the final cost.
People looking for brand new cars face a significant challenge as car prices continue to rise. The price increase is not limited to new cars; used car prices are also rising, filling the gap between old and new car prices.
