Surprisingly, Proton has not only raised the prices of the Proton Saga but has also indicated that it intends to do so again on May 11th.
While automakers have increased vehicle prices multiple times per year, this is the first time an automaker has forewarned of another price increase. This could be to boost sales of its most popular model in Pakistan, Saga.
Below are the new Proton Saga booking prices through May 10th, as well as the prices after that date.

Bookings made before May 10th will incur a 50% price increase of Rs.100,000 for the two basic variants. While the top-of-the-line Ace model has increased in price by Rs.110,000, Any bookings made after May 11th will face a 100 percent price increase of Rs.200,000 for the two basic models and Rs.220,000 for the top-of-the-line model.
