The Punjab education department finalized the summer vacation schedule for all public and private educational institutions on Wednesday.
Summer vacations in schools and other educational institutions will begin on June 1 and will last until July 31st, according to the Punjab School Education Department.
According to the education department, the new academic year 2022-23 will begin on August 1. Similarly, the examinations for classes 1-8 will begin in May, with results expected before May 31.
The Sindh education department recently announced that the new academic year 2022-23 will begin on August 1.
It was also agreed that annual examinations for elementary classes (grades 4-8) would begin on May 2, while matriculation examinations would begin on May 17. The examination results will be announced on July 17.
The intermediate examinations will begin on June 15, and admissions to Higher Secondary Schools (HSC) will be open from July 1 to July 31.
The Sindh education steering committee announced that the examination papers will be made up of 40% MCQs and 60% detailed questions.
