PTI Azadi March: Govt Decides to Seal Islamabad’s Red Zone

In order to avoid any untoward incidents as a result of the PTI’s Azadi March on May 25, the PML-N-led coalition government has decided to seal Islamabad’s Red Zone by tonight, according to reliable sources.

According to sources close to the situation, the Red Zone will be completely sealed tonight, with the exception of Margalla Road.

“All roads leading to Red Zone will be sealed tonight, except Margalla Road,” said sources familiar with the government’s response to the protest.

They stated that shipping containers would be placed at the Red Zone’s entry and exit points.

It is important to note that the D-Chowk in Islamabad has already been sealed by the placement of containers.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced the Azadi March on Sunday, urging party workers and other members of society to travel to the capital city in order to achieve ‘true freedom’ for the country.

He demanded that the National Assembly be disbanded and that the date for new ‘fair and free’ elections in the country be announced.

The PTI chief also warned against making it difficult for protesters.
