According to sources, the government has decided to close the Motorway and GT Road in light of the PTI’s long march towards Islamabad.
The closure will begin today (Tuesday) and is reportedly intended to prevent the PTI’s long march from reaching the federal capital.
Authorities have also increased deployment at all of Lahore’s entry and exit points.
Lahore police have so far seized 120 tankers and obtained affidavits from transporters stating that they will not transport the protesters.
