Gold Surges To An All-Time High In Pakistan At Rs 145,000

After adding Rs1,500 on Friday, gold rates in Pakistan reached an all-time high of Rs145,500 per tola, barely a day after setting a record high the day before.

The All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA) reports that yellow metal costs have been climbing over the previous two days, with gold up Rs1,285 per 10 gram to Rs124,742.

Gold, on the other hand, rose $27 per ounce to settle at $1,846 on the international market.

In the meantime, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs1,560 per tola. The price of silver per ten kilos was Rs1,337.44.
