From July 1, Atlas Honda Ltd (AHL) raised the cost of motorcycles by up to Rs15,000.
Under the revised pricing structure, Honda’s CD70cc, CD70 (Dream), Pridor, CG125, CG125S, CB125F, CB150F, and CB150F (Silver) are priced at Rs111,500, Rs119,500, Rs150,900, Rs174,500, Rs205,500, Rs263,900, Rs323,900, and Rs327,900, respectively.
AHL increased costs by up to Rs 9,000 on June 1.
A dealer claims that the corporation provided no justification for the price increase. However, vehicle assemblers typically pass on to customers the effects of higher manufacturing costs brought on by the depreciation of the rupee against the dollar and high freight costs.
