Azad Kashmir to Get International Airport, Private Airlines, and Bullet Train to Islamabad

The launch of the Bullet Train has been declared by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government. This declaration was made on Thursday by Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Prime Minister (PM) of AJK, who also planned to construct additional projects.

There will be served on the bullet train between Muzaffarabad and Islamabad. The cost of this project was kept secret by the AJK prime minister. He also disclosed intentions for the AJK region to welcome a private airline.

The PM set aside Rs. 500 million to establish a cottage industry in AJK and Rs. 340 million for the media sector. In addition, he declared that a hospital with 500 beds, advanced medical technology, and three IT training facilities would be established in various AJK cities.

The AJK PM promised the people that they wouldn’t have to deal with any additional financial strain in the form of an increase in energy prices and that it wouldn’t alter for at least a year.
