Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has announced that no bill will be collected from consumers using up to 100 units of electricity.
Addressing a press conference, he said that from today, the Punjab government would bear the cost of the bills of consumers consuming up to 100 units in the province in August.
He said that those who have used 100 units per month for the last 6 months will get free electricity. They are also considering moving these users to solar panels.
Hamza Shahbaz said that a new journey of development will begin in the country. We believe in practical steps and not false promises like Imran Khan. People are holding Imran Khan accountable for the last 4 years.
He said that Pakistan’s economy has to be revived, after 74 years the Pakistani nation is at a crossroads.
He said that the decision to increase petrol prices was taken with a heavy heart. He said that he would work day and night to improve the economy of this country. Now is the time to save the state and not politics.
