Today, Snapchat formally unveiled Snapchat+, a premium membership service that will give users access to unique features, including the option to alter the app icon and the ability to know who has rewatched your stories.
The company said earlier this month that it was testing this capability, although it did not provide much information. It has now formally established Snapchat+.
The countries to be added for now: the new subscription plan will launch in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

“Today, we’re introducing Snapchat+, a bundle of premium, beta, and experimental services that can be accessed through Snapchat for $3.99 per month. The firm added that this subscription will enable us to prioritize support for some of the most ardent members of our community and provide new Snapchat features to them.
In addition to personalized app icons and story replay counts, Snapchat+ will grant access to a special badge, the option to designate a friend as your #1 buddy, and the ability to view “the general direction of travel for where friends have recently moved.”
According to the business, the last function is only accessible if your pals have previously given their permission to reveal their whereabouts. The majority of these features are now focused on profile and app appearance.
