Tecno has revolutionized the market for entry-level smartphones with its Sparkline. Users eagerly anticipated a revamp after last year’s Spark 8 range achieved great popularity.
The Tecno Spark 9 Pro and 9T were revealed in African countries last month, and the standard Spark 9 will succeed the Spark 8 by the end of this month.
Instead of starting in Africa this time, Asian markets will receive it first. The Tecno Spark 9 is scheduled to launch in India in the next two days, and Pakistan is predicted to be its next destination, according to official social media sources.
Here is a summary of the features listed on an Indian e-commerce site.
The design aesthetic of the Spark 9 is identical to that of its predecessor. The back case, which has a substantial boxy design, has a glossy camera island at the top.
The photographic requirements are met via a secondary shooter and LED flash in addition to a 13MP primary lens. A hardware fingerprint sensor is also positioned inside the shiny protrusion along with the camera pair.
A substantial 6.6 inches of screen space is maintained. It has a 90 Hz scan rate and a 720p LCD. The selfie camera is located in the upper waterdrop notch, while a somewhat broad chin protrudes from the top of the display.
Unlike last year’s Helio P22, the Spark 9’s brain will be an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37. Inside are 6GB of RAM (expandable to 11GB) and 128GB of ROM. A 5,000 mAh battery powers the Spark 9, allowing it to charge quickly.
The Spark 8 runs the Go version of Android 11, while the Spark 9 will run Android 12 with the brand’s proprietary HiOS on top. The handset launches in two color options: Sky Mirror & Infinity Black. The Tecno smartphone is likely to cost less than 25,999 Pakistani rupees.
