According to the federal minister for railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to reduce the cost of its international flight tickets by up to 15%.
The minister claimed that PIA had already reduced ticket prices for domestic routes by 10% in a video message shared on Twitter.
He continued by saying that the national flag carrier has chosen to reduce ticket prices for a few foreign flights as well, following calculations.

The cost of flights to Saudi Arabia has decreased by 10%, and flights to the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf nations have seen a 15% reduction in ticket prices.
Additionally, there has been an 8% decrease in the cost of tickets to Canada. The increased prices will take effect right now.
The minister stated that the government will immediately lower ticket rates for passengers if fuel prices continue to decline.
