Bykea Launches Car Hailing Service to Take On Careem and InDriver

In Pakistan, Bykea has finally begun offering a car-hailing service. Earlier this week, the business teased the launch with a social media post that stated, “Hum honay walay hain 2 se 4.” “Hum ho gaye hain 2 se 4” is the new tagline the company has adopted to announce the introduction of its new service.


The service has only been made available thus far in Karachi and Islamabad, but Bykea expects to expand it further in the coming months. The ride-hailing business now faces competition from Careem, Uber, and InDriver, all of which offer both car and bike rental services.

Bykea’s customer base and revenue have significantly increased as fuel prices have risen, which has probably allowed the business to grow its services.

According to a recent Bloomberg story, Bykea secured $10 million from its existing partners to take advantage of the market’s increasing demand in Pakistan. With more than 1.7 million active monthly users and more than 60,000 driver partners, the company operates in a number of major cities around Pakistan.
