On the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a “Digital Flood Dashboard” will be formally launched tomorrow to ensure transparency over flood relief assistance and its distribution network (Monday).
The announcement was made during a meeting presided over by the Prime Minister. The meeting thoroughly reviewed the ongoing rescue and relief efforts in flood-affected areas.

According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Digital Flood Dashboard would provide direct information to the general public about financial assistance and relief goods received and divided among flood sufferers at the global, federal, and provincial levels.
Furthermore, to ensure transparency in ongoing processes, the general public and media would be kept informed of the relief measures.

He also instructed that basic necessities of life, such as food, be made available in flood-affected areas.
While emphasizing collective mechanisms and cooperation with provincial governments, the prime minister emphasized the importance of early road restoration and the development of a comprehensive strategy to address other issues that the provinces face.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the AGPR and a world-renowned audit firm would conduct an audit of the financial aid received for flood victims in order to ensure transparency.
