On Sunday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) reopened reservations for its weekly flights from Lahore to Kuwait. It is expected to resume flight operations to Kuwait on September 21.
Additionally, flight PK-205 will depart weekly from Lahore to Kuwait, and flight PK-206 will depart weekly from Kuwait to Lahore.

After Kuwaiti authorities allowed it to resume flights, the national flag carrier will use A320 aircraft on this route.
PIA had previously announced bookings for the FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be held in Qatar this November, on September 4th. It will operate seven flights per week from Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar to Doha.

In other news, PIA has issued a tender to purchase new aircraft. The fleet expansion is part of PIA’s effort to increase the number of international flights.
The national airline aims to purchase five new planes on a six-year dry lease and is expected to do so in the coming year. The planes will seat up to 320 passengers.
