Suzuki Pakistan has released the all-new Suzuki Alto VXR. According to the company, the new variant includes two new features for a “comfortable and convenient driving experience.” This hatchback’s new features include:
- Auto Gear Shift (AGS)
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
And these two additions will undoubtedly improve the driving experience by ensuring comfort and safety for the driver and passengers.
Price of Suzuki Alto VXR
The introductory retail price of the new variant has also been announced by the company. According to the company, the price of this car is Rs. 2,120,000. “The retail price includes freight charges,” the company stated.
We hope that this variant is a success because the companies are having serious problems selling the cars. The main reason for this is a lack of raw materials and the failure of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to issue Letters of Credit (LCs) for CKD kits.
According to last month’s PAMA reports, car companies such as Pak Suzuki saw a significant drop in sales. Last month, the company sold 3,954 units compared to 6,679 units in July, marking the lowest monthly sales for the second month in a row. (MoM decrease: 41%)
According to the data, the company sold 2,293 Alto units last month, compared to 4,618 units in July 2022. In August, Suzuki sold 411 units of the Suzuki Cultus, 365 units of the Suzuki Wagon R, 532 units of the Suzuki Swift, 227 units of the Suzuki Bolan, and 126 units of the Suzuki Ravi.
This demonstrates that even cars like the Alto are having difficulty leaving dealerships. And the situation in the near future does not appear to be improving, as the dollar continues to rise against the Pakistani rupee, putting pressure on businesses and consumers alike.
