Rolex is Non-profitale Company, Only Pays their Employees & Profits to Charity

Most other watch companies are not like Rolex. Rolex actually runs its business entirely differently. The phrase “The Rolex Way” could be used to describe how Rolex conducts business.

The Wilsdorf Foundation is the owner of the Rolex watch company, Rolex S.A. Hans Wilsdorf, the company’s original founder, established Rolex in 1945. His wife Florence Frances May Wilsdorf-Crotty passed away in 1944, and the foundation was started in her honor.

They are a “non-profit company” because they pay their workers and donate the remaining profits to charitable causes.

Non-profit status does not imply that a company is not interested in generating revenue and achieving success. But Rolex differs from its rivals in that it has no owners or investors who might want to influence how the business is run.

As a result, Rolex contributes a sizable portion of its earnings to charitable and social causes.
