Punjab Govt Launched “Go Punjab” App to Provide Online Services to People & Curb Corruption

The Go Punjab App was launched by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, who said that the project’s online services would help the public and fight corruption.

He stated that women may use the app from home while speaking at the Punjab Information Technology Board’s opening event. Through the Go Punjab App, “our administration has offered services to every person and to every dwelling,” he continued.

The board, according to the chief minister, had quickly served a number of departments and, with the introduction of the mobile application, had reached a significant milestone. He claimed to have started the provincial department of information technology in 2005 and laid the cornerstone for the IT Tower in 2006.

The chief minister claimed that by including services from the private sector in the app, employment possibilities will also be created. The Go Punjab App, he continued, “is a fantastic move by our government to offer services to the people.

He stated that the Qaumi Sehat Card was a centerpiece initiative of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and that the app will also give citizens access to information on the card and hospitals. The software also allows users to pay for e-challans, get copies of FIRs, and report lost property.

The software also allows users to pay for mutation fees, Fard Malkiyet, and electronic stamp paper. Through the Go Punjab App, businessmen and farmers can each pay their respective e-abiyana fees.
