Pakistan is Getting its First Ever Smart City in Punjab

Ch. Pervaiz Elahi received a visit from Khawaja Tauseef Ahmad, the CEO of the Aga Khan Foundation Cultural Services Pakistan (AKCSP), at the CM Office.

During the conference, the crucial choice was made to work with the AKCSP to develop Lahore as a smart city.

In this regard, the CM also asked for a project plan. He claims that Lahore will be Pakistan’s first smart city, making it unique.

The digitalization of Lahore will be aided by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and municipal utilities will be made available via a mobile app.

Additionally, to conform to the Wazir Khan Mosque’s design, Baba Bulleh Shah’s tomb in Kasur will undergo renovations.

Earlier this week, CM Punjab attended the installation of MPA Khayal Ahmad Kastro as a minister at the Governor’s House. Khayal Ahmad Kastro was sworn in by governor Balighur Rehman.

The CM congratulated the newly appointed minister on taking the oath and expressed confidence in his ability to perform his duties in a responsible manner while making an effort to meet the needs of the general public. The administration is devoted to the welfare of the general populace and is working hard to assist them.
