Punjab is Getting Its Own ‘Job Center’ Soon

In order to build the “Job Center in Punjab Province,” the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Punjab Government, the Labor & Human Resource Department (L&HRD), and PITB are collaborating to establish job centers across the entire province of Punjab at the divisional and district levels.

Although the project is still in its early stages, 20,000 workers have already been registered.
Saqib Rafiq, president of the RCCI, Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, senior vice president, Faisal Shahzad, vice president, senior program manager, Shams ul Islam, and program manager Syed Umar Saeed were all present at the signing ceremony.

Saqib Rafiq, the president of the RCCI, applauded the PITB initiative and stated that the portal would serve as a link between employers, recruiters, businesses that facilitate job exchanges, employees, and job seekers.
