Due to the high likelihood of snowfall in Murree, the number of cars that are allowed to enter has been restricted by the government. Only 8,000 vehicles would be allowed in Murree, the Punjab Relief Commissioner Naveed Ahmed Shirazi told the media. He also said that CCTV cameras would be used to monitor the entire area.

Shirazi also approved a sizable simulation exercise to deal with the snow and ordered the authorities to remove all roadblocks. According to the spokesman, 13 relief centers have been established, and 1122 more police officers and emergency responders have been sent out to handle any crises.
He also instructed the populace to dial 1129 in case of an emergency and prohibited any government employees from leaving Murree during the snowy season.
Vehicle Entry Ban on Mall Road
The local police have taken a significant step to address the potential emergency by forbidding all vehicles from entering Mall Road. The police claimed that more than 270 officers had been stationed throughout the hill station to handle any issues that might arise as a result of the snowfall.

The city is also removing snow from the streets and parking lots with the help of five lifters and one crane. According to the police, Sunny Bank Chowk has been placed under traffic control and five roads have been made one-way.
The police have decided to only allow mechanically fit cars inside the city, and a special schedule has been issued for the admission of heavy vehicles in the area.
The Met predicts light to moderate snowfall for Murree, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Malakand, Haripur, Mardan, and other nearby regions.
