In February, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) will start giving out smart cards to property owners.
This statement was made at a conference to evaluate the progress of digitizing the property records of commercial markets and housing colonies under FDA control, according to Abid Husain Bhatti, Additional Director General of the FDA.

The ADG asserts that these smart cards will be robust, secure, and outfitted with top-notch security measures. They will serve as a comprehensive database of all property-related information.
He emphasized the need to accelerate by carefully examining the most recent state of the digitization process in order to reach 100% completion without any delays.
The ADG emphasized the need to always uphold total transparency.

The ADG also emphasized that in order for smart cards to earn the full trust and confidence of property owners, they must be genuine, comprehensive, and credible in every way.
At the meeting, the ADG also charged the six-person committee with managing the digitization process and gave them two weeks to produce a report on the accomplishments of the contracted firm, HTTI, over the previous year.
