The 2nd LEAP exhibition will be held in the Saudi capital of Riyadh from February 6 through February 9, according to an announcement made by the Pakistani trade mission in Riyadh, and will feature Pakistani technology startups and companies showcasing their cutting-edge goods and solutions for top global firms involved in telecommunications and information technology.
The LEAP exhibition is a major international technology event that serves as a venue for bringing together the brightest minds in the field from around the globe to exchange ideas, form alliances, and connect with inspiring mentors and financiers in order to realize the technology’s limitless potential for a promising future.
The top 18 Pakistani tech companies and 10 startups will be showcasing cutting-edge solutions at the 2nd LEAP edition in Saudi Arabia thanks to the close cooperation of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan Software Housing Association (P@SHA), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
A list of services, including but not limited to artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchains and cryptocurrencies, robotics, 3D printing, space and satellites, biotech, quantum, fintech, 5G, open source, unmanned systems, and data services, was provided by the Pakistani trade mission.
The campaign’s main goal is to advertise Pakistan as a tech destination and to highlight its potential for exporting IT.
Pakistan’s IT exports generated $2.6 billion in just FY 2022. No other area of the Pakistani economy has seen exports grow so quickly over the past few years.
Pakistan is one of the biggest suppliers of online labor in the technology and software development industries, and it is also a financially attractive location for offshore outsourcing services.
“LEAP Riyadh is a perfectly timed opportunity for Pakistan to promote its IT/Telco enterprises on an international trade platform and increase business in the Middle East market,” says a representative of Pakistan. “Especially in Saudi Arabia, which is under transition through the adoption of Vision 2030.”
