In support of the Prime Minister’s Green Youth Movement (GYM), the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is hosting a green digital photography competition to raise awareness of climate change and environmental sustainability.

The competition’s theme, “Impacts of Climate Change on the Eco-System of Pakistan,” encourages participants to capture the beauty of nature, the effects of human activity on the environment, and young people’s perspectives on climate change.
The Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) is inviting Pakistani teenagers and young adults between the ages of 15 and 29 to submit original photos showing the effects of climate change in the nation before February 28, 2023.

The competition is split into two age groups: 15–22 years old and 23–29 years old. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place in each age group.

Through this competition, HEC and the Prime Minister’s Green Youth Movement hope to motivate youth to take action to safeguard the environment. The “Week of Youth,” which will be observed from February 20–26, 2023, will mark the announcement and presentation of winners.
