Indian financial technology company Velocity has unveiled “Lexi,” the nation’s first ChatGPT-integrated chatbot. According to the company, this most recent AI development has been integrated with Velocity Insights, its current analytics tool.

In a statement, co-founder and CEO of Velocity Abhiroop Medhekar said that “Ever since ChatGPT launched, our product teams have been thinking of ways to use it to benefit our founders. Due to the fact that Velocity customers frequently use ChatGPT to inform business decisions, we integrated it with the Insights interface.

Notably, The Indian Express reports that the Meity team at Bhashini is testing the WhatsApp chatbot powered by ChatGPT.
According to the report, a WhatsApp chatbot powered by ChatGPT will assist users by responding to questions sent as voice notes. It will be especially helpful for Indian farmers who may not be accustomed to typing on smartphones. Remarkably, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also stated at the World Economic Forum that Indian farmers would soon be able to use a GPT interface to access a government program online.
