Umrah pilgrims are now welcome to pass through any of Saudi Arabia’s international airports, according to the Saudi government. They had only previously been able to travel through Jeddah, Madinah, Taif, or Yanbu.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, there isn’t a specific international airport for Umrah pilgrims to arrive at or depart from.

In a notice, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) ordered both domestic and foreign airlines to fly Umrah pilgrims through any of the Kingdom’s international airports. All carriers are required to abide by the GACA’s directives or risk legal action.
On their flights home, pilgrims performing the Hajj or Umrah are permitted to bring 5 liters of Zamzam water for free. Holy water must be contained in a standard King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Water Project 5-liter bottle.
