An open-source Wi-Fi architecture called OpenWiFi enables multi-vendor, interoperable Wi-Fi networks. The TIP OpenWiFi-based solution enables service providers, like Multinet, to seamlessly combine access points and controllers from any TIP OpenWiFi-compliant manufacturer to create a unified infrastructure, allowing it to quickly increase its Wi-Fi footprint while providing a quality user experience. Due to its open-source nature, it also enables developers to produce new applications quickly.
