According to a representative of the national airline, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will offer a 27 percent discount to students traveling to China to complete their academic degrees.
To assist students flying to China, the PIA initially announced a 22% fare reduction for students in December last year.

A regular ticket from Islamabad to Beijing costs Rs272,000, but students are eligible for a discount, according to a customer service representative at the PIA’s official helpline.
According to the representative, the PIA currently operates flights to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport in China.
Students from Pakistan who will be traveling to China in the near future told Xinhua that the PIA’s discount was very helpful to them because the cost of flying had skyrocketed as a result of the currency devaluation.
