A better-screened version of the Spark 9 Pro from last year, the Spark 10 Pro, was just unveiled by Tecno. The new model’s larger 6.8″ IPS LCD has a 90Hz refresh rate as opposed to the older model’s 6.6″ 60Hz. The Spark 10 Pro features a glass back for the first time.
Without mentioning any brand names, the company refers to this as “hard-wearing Starry Glass.” The “starry” part comes from how speckled it appears. Starry Black and Pearl White are the only two color options for the phone.
Also included with the phone is the Helio G88 chipset. It has 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of built-in RAM (plus up to 8GB of virtual RAM), both from Tecno. There is also a specific microSD slot.
Additionally, the front camera on the Spark is superior.
A built-in flash is part of the 32MP camera. The rear camera features a 50MP main sensor with Super Night mode, 3D LUTs to quickly change the look of your photos, and an unidentified auxiliary sensor. Moreover, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The phone also has a sizable 5,000mAh battery with 18W USB-C port charging. A dual SIM, NFC, and FM radio are additional noteworthy features. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also located on the bottom of the phone. Additionally, the phone will come pre-installed with both Android 13 and HiOS 12.6.
This month’s end will see the release of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro. The company hasn’t yet provided specific pricing information, though.
