Everyone was eagerly awaiting the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra in 2021 following the highly praised Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. But after announcing the 12S Ultra, the company decided against a global rollout, ostensibly because of the expected chip shortage in 2022. However, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is about to make its debut on the global market.

The phone can be seen in images that have been leaked and show a massive camera island. In China at least, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be released in March or April. Given the Ultra ancestry, it should place a strong emphasis on photography. The 13 Ultra will retain the 1-inch main sensor of its predecessor while also incorporating gimbal stabilization, according to a previous leak. There will be a dToF (direct Time-of-Flight) sensor in addition to autofocus on all four of the back cameras.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is what the upcoming phone will have. Additionally, it will have 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. The phone will also have a 32 MP selfie camera in addition to a 108 MP main camera. However, the phone will have a sizable 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging.
