Due to the large number of people performing Umrah rituals during Ramadan, both inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is currently impossible to make new reservations to complete Umrah until Ramadan.
The upcoming month of Ramadan will see an increase in demand for reservations to perform Umrah rituals, as reported by the Saudi newspaper “Okaz,” emphasising that the first week of the Holy month is already completely booked.
According to the application, reservations are impossible during the first 13 days of Ramadan. The authorities said that the last ten days were also fully reserved.
The number of individuals registered on the Nusk platform for Umrah from outside the Kingdom during the month of Ramadan reached nearly 800,000 people up until Thursday, according to Abdul Rahman Shams, Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Assistant for Umrah Affairs.
The Tafweej Control Station, two stations for Hajj and Umrah performers, and four centers for guiding Umrah performers and visitors have all been run by the Saudi Ministry, represented by the Deputy Ministry for Visiting Affairs.
The ministry stated that this is being done in order to get ready for the anticipated increase in tourists and pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan.
