The Minister explained on Twitter that older applications that were submitted during travel restrictions related to the coronavirus are still being processed, which is why Canada’s official website displays 802 days.

He revealed that fewer than 15 percent of the 55,000 applications for Pakistani TRVs had been processed. Fraser also revealed that the Canadian government plans to expand the processing and interviewing capacity of the area by opening a new processing center in Islamabad. Canada will quicken the process of obtaining business visas.
