Microsoft has announced a new program as part of its effort to enhance Xbox Game Pass as a platform for gamers. With the help of this program, current PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate customers can give 14-day trials to up to five friends. Every feature of PC Game Pass, including EA Play and the Riot Games benefits, will be included in the free trial.

The Xbox Game Pass Friend Referral Program, as announced by the company through Xbox Wire, enables users of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass to offer up to five friends a free 14-day PC Game Pass trial. The invited friends must not have previously used Game Pass, according to the company.
All of the features of PC Game Pass, including access to new releases from Xbox Game Studios the day they are released, an EA Play membership, and the ability to play well-known PC and mobile games from Riot Games on PC, are available during the free trial. Invited friends will have the option to link their Xbox accounts with their Riot Games accounts, gaining access to games like Valorant, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra.

Simply go to the Game Pass Home screen in the Xbox App on Windows to access Friend Referral invitations for sharing Game Pass. A “Give PC Game Pass” button can be found there. To begin sharing and inviting your friends to join, click on it. Keep in mind that once you’ve used all five of your referrals, you won’t receive any more until January 1 when they reset.
