On Thursday, the app was officially released worldwide. To help with marketing, Meta has enlisted the help of well-known people like Gordon Ramsay, Shakira, and Lando Norris.
Although using Threads is completely free, obtaining a blue verification tick necessitates a subscription to Meta Verified. The app aims to provide a forum for text-based conversations and open discourse, much like Twitter and other social apps.
