Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) recently announced a significant reduction in airfares, aiming to ease the financial burden on Umrah pilgrims. The airline has specifically targeted the Faisalabad to Madinah and Jeddah route, which previously had a fare of Rs 112,000.

However, PIA has now reduced the price to Rs100,800, making the journey more affordable. This reduced fare will be applicable until August 10, allowing pilgrims to take advantage of the discounted rates.

Moreover, PIA has also lowered the round-trip fares for flights to Madinah and Jeddah, further easing the financial strain on individuals undertaking the Umrah pilgrimage. As air travel expenses constitute a significant portion of the overall pilgrimage cost, this decision is expected to alleviate the financial burden on pilgrims.
