New WhatsApp features include screen sharing and video calls in landscape mode. Mark Zuckerberg, Meta CEO, announced the enhancements, allowing users to share their live screen content during calls.

This feature offers real-time sharing of specific applications or the entire screen, aiding activities like work document sharing, family photo browsing, vacation planning, and tech support.
Initially available for WhatsApp beta testers, screen sharing will now roll out to all Android, iOS, and Windows users.
To use the feature:
- Open WhatsApp
- Initiate a video call
- Tap the screen-sharing icon at the bottom
- Confirm screen sharing
- Tap “Stop Sharing” to close screen share
Additionally, WhatsApp introduces the ‘Landscape’ mode for video calls, enhancing the visual experience during content sharing. The platform also includes other features such as editing sent messages, chat locking with a password or biometric, and sharing HD-quality photos.
