Jaxeri Automotive (Pvt.) Ltd., Pakistan’s first electric car manufacturer, is set to introduce a fully electric compact SUV in 2025.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Muhammad Najeeb Haroon, visited their local R&D facility to learn about the progress. The company confirmed that the SUV will be locally designed and manufactured.

Earlier, Jaxeri revealed the Nur-E 75 electric hatchback prototype in Pakistan on August 14, 2022. It was developed by the US-based DICE Foundation and aimed to enter the economy car market.
The Nur-E has a 107HP/200Nm electric motor, offering a top speed of 127 Km/hr and a claimed range of 200KM with a 35 kWh battery.

Commercial production is projected to begin around Q4 2024, with about 60% of parts produced locally. However, considering Pakistan’s economic trends, car prices are expected to rise.
