GC University and US Embassy Announce English Access Micro Scholarship Program

Government College University (GCU) Hyderabad has introduced an exciting opportunity for young individuals coming from low-income families through the launch of the two-year English Access Micro Scholarship Program.

In partnership with the United States (US) Embassy in Islamabad, this educational initiative aims to empower underprivileged children by improving their English language skills.

Open to both boys and girls aged 13 to 16, this program offers a unique chance to enhance language abilities that are crucial for both academic and personal growth.

The classes for the program are scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., making it convenient for students with varying schedules.

Prospective candidates have until August 23rd to submit their applications, and interviews for the selection process will take place on August 28th.

The English Access Micro Scholarship Program equips participants with English skills that could lead to improved job opportunities and educational prospects.

Moreover, participants also acquire the potential to compete for and partake in future exchanges and study opportunities in the United States. Since its inception in 2004, around 150,000 students in over 80 countries have been a part of this program.
