AirSial has taken a significant step forward in its global expansion efforts by introducing flights to Jeddah, marking a pivotal moment in the airline’s journey.
The airline has commenced operations with plans to provide two weekly flights from Sialkot, as well as five weekly flights each from Multan and Karachi.
In a momentous inauguration event held at the Sialkot International Airport, AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani, along with Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, the UAE Consul General in Karachi, officially launched the airline’s inaugural international flight.
The event was marked by a tasteful and understated ceremony, highlighted by the symbolic cutting of a cake. Distinguished representatives from both Sialkot International Airport and AirSial were present, lending significant importance to the occasion.
Al-Rumaithi conveyed his sincere congratulations to AirSial’s Chairman and the entire team for the successful expansion of the airline’s international flight operations. He lauded the remarkable journey of progress, underscoring the significance of the international airline launch as yet another achievement following the establishment of an international airport by Sialkot’s enterprising business community.
Reflecting on his own personal experience, the UAE Consul General shared, “I have travelled with AirSial, and my experience was truly exceptional.”
AirSial’s venture into international operations comes on the heels of its inaugural flights in the domestic sector on December 25, 2020, with the launch of Airbus A320-200 aircraft to service the Karachi-Islamabad route. The initial fleet included three Airbus A320-200 planes.
Conceived by members of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, AirSial has gained official airline status and has swiftly established itself as a prominent player within the aviation industry.
